Singapore Exchange's Query Regarding Trading Activity

The Board of Directors of HG Metal Manufacturing Limited ( "the Company" ) in response to a query from the Singapore Exchange on a substantial increase in the price and trading volume of the Company's share today, wishes to inform that neither the Company nor the Directors of the Company are aware of any information not previously announced concerning the Company, subsidiaries or associated companies of the Company nor aware of any other possible explanation for the trading.

The Board of Directors would like to confirm that the Company is in compliance with listing rules and in particular, listing rule 703.
