Ms Tay joined the Group in October 2013
and was appointed as Financial Controller
of the Group on 30 January 2015. She is in
charge of overseeing finance, accounting,
tax and treasury functions of the Group.
Ms Tay has over 20 years of working
experience in finance, accounting and
auditing. Prior to joining the Group,
she had held various management
appointments in listed companies and
government-related organizations.
Ms Tay holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons)
degree in Accounting and Financial
Management from University of Sheffield
(UK), and is a Chartered Accountant with
the Institute of Singapore Chartered
Accountants and a member of the
Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants (UK).
JACK TAN
, K& KW Z d/KE^
Mr Tan joined the Group in April
2014 and was appointed as Head of
Operations on 30 January 2015. He is
responsible for operational planning
and management, warehouse and
logistics management and facilities
management.
His
responsibilities
also include implementing policies in
ensuring Quality, Health, Safety and
Environment measures are in place.
Mr Tan has 17 years of experience in
the operation of ferrous, non-ferrous
scrap and new metal materials. Prior to
joining the Group, he was the Corporate
Manager of Esun International Pte Ltd. He
was in charge of safety and maintenance
management, manpower management,
purchasing, building construction project
and corporate matters since 2011. He
had held various positions including Chief
Operating Officer, General Manager
and Manager with Union Steel Holding
Limited from 2001 to 2009.
DAN ANG
d/E' , K& ^ > ^
Mr Ang joined the Group in January 2015
as a Business Development Manager.
He was appointed as Acting Head of
Sales on 4 January 2016, overseeing
the sales and marketing department.
He is responsible for the Group’s
business strategy and development. His
responsibilities also include driving the
growth of the company and to provide
better customer service through well
executed strategic development.
Mr Ang started off his career as an
Engineer in Singapore Technologies
Kinetics Ltd. Prior to joining the Group,
he ran his own tools cutting business for
the past 17 years. Mr Ang brings with
him a wealth of experience in various
industry sectors such as aerospace, oil
& gas, tools & die maker, mould making
and precision industries and steel
industries.
KESAVAN NAIR
/E W E Ed /Z dKZ
Mr Kesavan Nair was appointed to
the Board as Independent Director
on 17 April 2014. He is the Chairman
of the Nominating Committee and
Remuneration Committee, and is a
member of the Audit & Risk Committee.
Mr Nair is a practicing Advocate and
Solicitor with Genesis Law Corporation in
the area of civil and criminal litigation and
corporate law.
Mr Nair is also an Independent Director
of various SGX-listed and SGX-Catalist
Companies.
Mr Nair graduated from The University
College of Wales, Aberystwyth, with
a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 1988.
He was admitted as a Barrister-at Law,
Middle Temple in 1990, a Barrister and
Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the
Australian Capital Territory in 1991 and
an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme
Court of Singapore in 1992.
